On behalf of the organising committee, we would like to welcome you to attend the 8th annual conference of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomists.

The theme this year is 'New Insights, Implications for Clinical Practice', reflecting the role clinical anatomy research has on clinical practice. This conference will provide an excellent opportunity for networking and the sharing of ideas from clinical application of anatomical research to insights into novel methods of teaching.

Conference attendees are expected from a multitude of disciplines, including doctors, physiotherapists, anatomists, educators and pre and post graduate students. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Anatomy at the Otago School of Medical Sciences. The University of Otago was opened in 1871, and is situated in picturesque Dunedin.

There is a range of accommodation available including Carrington Hall which is very reasonably priced and includes breakfasts, just a short walk from the conference venue. As in previous meetings this allows extended networking of participants over the duration of the conference.

Please be aware that this there is a graduation ceremony around the conference, so you are advised to book your accommodation early.

Pre-conference workshops have been forgone this year, however a welcome event on the Wednesday will allow participants to catch up before the academic program commences.
